Orient Express Barcelona
An architectural project designed by the studio for Orient Express for the America’s Cup, where a link is established between the sport of sailing and the space environment. By highlighting the sensation of movement through the use of sails, the perception of the wind creates a real-time connection between the spectator and the race.

The aim is to create continuity between the legend of the Orient Express and the experience at sea, by playing on the volume of the spaces and the flexibility of the maritime pavilion.
A multi-faceted meeting place
The modular curtain can be used to compartmentalise or open up spaces as required, while maintaining a warm, cosy night-time ambience. The many interplays of undulating and shifting fabrics symbolise the place's dual land and sea identity.

The pavilion is designed as a modular space, allowing flexibility according to events and needs.
An open space
Transparency and the 180° panoramic view over the port are key elements, reinforcing the interaction with the maritime environment. The décor is structured and minimalist, with colourful accents and the play of light created by the sails, while subtly integrating materials such as wood and dense vegetation to provide freshness and intimacy.

The space also offers a comfortable layout with the possibility of creating luxury lounges, a separate VIP corner, and the possibility of organising meetings or moments of relaxation overlooking the sea.
The Orient Express signature
The setting is designed to offer an exclusive experience, inspired by the luxury and elegance of a voyage aboard the Orient Express, but adapted to the maritime and sporting world of the America's Cup.
