Noémie Goudal

Creation of a scenographic route for the artist Noémie Goudal at the Mostyn gallery in the United Kingdom. In this exhibition, the artist presents sculptural works and photographs that question the intersections between spaces and our perceptions, and blur the boundaries between reality and illusion. A ‘blur’ that motivates our scenographic principle, where these volumes of varying constraints are presented with the help of a grid of suspended translucent panels. Used for the double-sided reading they create, these interplays of transparency and ‘blurriness’ allow visitors to wander through the space, discovering the works as a whole, but also from behind. This arrangement of translucent panels invites visitors to move from room to room, allowing them to move fluidly between the different perceptions.
