Centre de Design de l’UQAM
From the scenography of COLLECTIBLE 2023 to the Center of Design at UQAM School of Design, where 19 students and Paf atelier embarked on a creative journey. Paf atelier and the students reimagined the space, crafting intricate arrangements using only ropes and inflatable cylinders to explore boundless possibilities.
The goal of this research work with the students was also to reproduce it in the form of an exhibition.
Entitled “Les langages du possible” (The languages of possibility), this exhibition is the culmination of a series of discussions and a rigorous process examining the theme of public space, using rope and twenty-eight inflatables supplied by the studio.
A meeting of minds
The exhibition is part of a multidisciplinary approach combining sketches, creative scenography, installation assembly and signage. The workshop took place at UQAM’s design center, and was a contribution from the studio itself, thanks to a guest appearance by Christopher Dessus (founder of Paf Atelier) and the involvement of Eloise Carrier (Principal Studio).
