Description
For the Printemps Festival, organized by Printemps stores, the studio collaborated with Yard for a scenography in the public space. The scenography, in the colors of Printemps’ new identity, plays with structures and inflatables. Initially imagined as friendly, ghostly elements, these signal objects draw on the imaginary world of marine lighthouses and water towers. The scenography features different elements, created for different uses: large structures to signify the entrance to the festival on rue Caumartin and rue de Provence, stands and simple signage elements to present activities, and a stage to host live artists. Green covers the space to create unity between the various scenographic elements and contrast with the surrounding Haussmann buildings. All the installations are preserved, designed with a sense of the objects’ dismantlability.
