Creating a capsule within a hotel,
The project moves away from illustrative décor to propose an expanded form of cinema, more spatial than frontal, in which visitors enter the dream rather than simply watching it. Within the framework of Room for Dreams, conceived around a form of utopian optimism, the studio advocates for a direct, sensory, and collective scenography, capable of opening up a moment of calm, joy, and projection. In Milan, for a new collective imagination.
In Milan, for a new collective imagination
For Room for Dreams, the studio imagines Cinema of Dreams as an immersive space situated between mental projection and physical experience. In the basement of ME Milan Il Duca, the scenography transforms the room into a sensitive landscape: an enveloping, almost suspended environment where light, material, and image come together to form an architecture of attention.
“For our first participation in Milan Design Week, the studio is proud to present an engaged, contemporary, and optimistic proposal that values the power of imagination and explores new perspectives. Today, it feels essential and necessary to keep believing, again and again, in the emotional power of spaces.”
— Christopher Dessus, founder of the studio
