Objets en devenir

For Paris Design Week, Le Jardin des Métiers d’Art et du Design (JAD) presented Objets en devenir, a multidisciplinary pop-up hosted at AVRIL, an independent cultural space dedicated to art, architecture, craftsmanship and design, in the heart of Paris’s Bastille district. Paf atelier designed the scenography of the space. Building on principles and materials first used for the exhibition À nous deux, shown in April at JAD in Sèvres, the studio devised a new circular layout and changed the colour of the wooden elements. This eco-conscious approach defined the identity of the pop-up, which hosted an exhibition and a series of talks on design and craftsmanship.
